Long Day

I'm so tired...'had a long day...not to mention that the Giants lost.
BIG BUMMER! It was such an exhausting game...you're down one minute
and the next minute someone bats a run in.
Man, if they only held their 5 pt. lead yesterday!
I really really wanted them to win. Plus, I truly felt it should have been theirs.

We had some friends over again along with my brother.
I'm so glad these guys came. One of them is such a crack up!
He totally kept the mood light in spite of the drama on the screen.
It's been a while since I've seen this particular set of friends, too, so
it was great to hang out a bit...even though most of our attention
was focused on the game.
It's funny, of the 7 games in this World Series, we had 10 different
friends over...it's just a great way to spend time with your folks, ya know?

Anyhow, tonight I also cooked some spaghetti (w/ hot dogs...pinoy style)....like a BOAT-load of it.
My brother has been craving it since last weekend, so I thought
I'd cook him some. He was so funny...
While he was eating his first bowl, he was in heaven. He
just kept being silly about it, too...totally cracked me up!
I've never seen anyone so happy to eat my spaghetti. :)
Total ego-booster.

Also, I decided to forego my attempt to get that nail cutter out of the sink pipe.
'Thought I might instead fix the leak in the faucet, but I just got fed up.
The directions in my little household fix-it book didn't help
me decipher how to unscrew a screw that was barely there...it was
completely corroded! I guess I just need to find more patience with
fixing household stuff.

My boyfriend and I decided to just buy a new faucet altogether.
Besides, the one we have now is all crapped out...and ugly too!
So this will be our project for next weekend.

I was gonna write some more, but i think I'll save it til tomorrow, er, I mean, later today.
I am so brain dead tired!
