9:23p

early bird
this time I didn't have to wait for no-one to show up.
I got booked one session tonight.
thank goodness it ended at 8p.
I was finally able to leave early...well, earlier than 9:30p that is.

stick a fork in me - i'm done
so today was close to the last straw at work.
our boss decided to not show up today
which meant that we had to cancel our bi-weekly staff meeting...
the only real opportunity we have to share information
amongst all of the staff in the office.

I guess there really is no commitment to this organization
by the management.
there is no commitment to cohesiveness.
there is, plain and simply, a lack of respect for staff,
and the absence of integrity in doing one's job.

there is more of a focus on "maintaining"
rather than moving forward so that
management does not need to exert any more
effort than they really need to.

it's all bullshit - period.

(hmmm...the word "mutiny" comes to mind at the moment)

craigslist, here i come!

random thoughts
i've been pretty disappointed and frustrated at myself
because i haven't kept up my physical fitness goals.
tonight i was so fed up and exhausted that i couldn't
help but wish that the toxins and fat that pervade my system just
melt off like wax from a burning candle.
then, i could re-shape my body to what I wanted.
if only life were so easy.

stagnant
i need to see changes in my life much quicker.
developing at a snail's pace is quite daunting.
but once i get the job search going full speed, i should feel more productive.
and once my ass gets into a gym (or at least a pair of tennis shoes), i think my
body will feel healthier and change to a more desirable and healthy form.
why can't i be like "Jeannie" who gets what she wants simply by twitching her nose
or whipping her pony tail?
again, if only life were so easy.

BUT, I'm ecstatic cause it's the weekend again.
'going to my first Giants baseball game of the season tomorrow.
I'm not looking forward to the cold or potential rain, but
I'll be happy to see my Giants and be part of the crowd.

and since my boss is out tomorrow, my weekend can start even sooner.
