not productive
i'm here again.
feeling a bit blah/lethargic.
spent part of the afternoon shopping for vegas outfits.
bought a pair of pants and a denim jacket for only $12!
Actually, only the denim jacket cost $12.
saw a cute tube top, but girlfriend I'm not even gonna try to pull that one off!
I just put it right back on the rack!

before that I had some lunch (palabok, rice and fried veggie lumpia) at Goldilock's.
Unfortunately, the lumpia tasted a bit old and I was disappointed to find that the
vegetable inside looked like it was one of those frozen veggie medleys
that you get in the freezer section of the grocery.
shoot! I could've made it myself then!
I hate it when Pilipino restaurants cut corners like that.
I shoulda went to Quizno's like I originally planned to do.
(but the palabok was good, though)

after shopping at Ross dept. store, I went over to Cold Stone Creamery
for a Banana-nana nut concotion.
I swear, I NEVER know what the hell to get there.
And it doesn't help that there are like 500 jars of ingredients staring me in the face
calling my name. The ones that especially kill me are the the jars of nestle crunch,
twix, and oreo cookies.

The first time I tried one of the combos, I chose
one with like 4 ingredients.
Oh my god, I will NEVER do that again!
The ingredient to ice cream ratio was too crazy.
I could barely taste the ice cream anymore!
ugghhh!!! chocolate over load!

currently watching While You Were Out on TLC, but
mostly am bored.
I really wanna go and watch the Harry Potter movie, but I should really wait for my boyfriend to see it with me.
I think I will just settle on watching some DVD's tonight.
although...I did catch the last half of "Cruel Intentions" on cable about an hour ago.

back to work
well, actually, I still don't know when that's gonna happen, but
tomorrow night the place that hired me will be hosting an orientation/x-mas party
at the day spa.
There will apparently be dancing even!
wow, what an employee orientation, huh?!

Also the dress for the evening is: classy (eh?)
Oh, and we can also bring one guest....so my boyfriend is going with me.
He wants to cut out early, though, so that we can go shopping for his Vegas outfit.

nevertheless, I am excited to see the rest of my co-workers.
I was able to talk to quite a few of them at our first orientation back in September.
Everyone really does seem down-to-earth...especially this one woman who
has been a massage therapist for almost 20 years.
She didn't act like a big shot at all and was extremely friendly.
I think I will definitely be able to learn a lot from her.

I'm also excited to check out the place.
It's gonna be a pretty hip/swanky/urban spot...I'm excited to see
what the decor will be like.
wow...can't believe I'm actually gonna be working in a hip-looking place.
I really hope this gig turns out well for me. I'm just prayin' it will.
