experimenting
I woke up about 30 minutes ago to the phone ringing.
Thank goodness for that call or else I might have kept on sleeping til noon....again. :(
So, I spent a lot of time last night experimenting with my blog site.
'changed the color & the title and added a tag board...even though I wrote earlier that i did not want to have one.
I decided to give it a shot only because I wanted to make my blog spot a little more interesting
looking for me.
I actually really want to add some pictures or some kind of image. I'm trying to get my
boyfriend to let me use one of his pictures, but I think he's rather post it on his site.
hmmm....maybe i'll just have to go out there and take a picture.
we'll see....maybe this will have to inspire the creative side of me again. (heaven forbid! ;) )

reunions
So today I decided to e-mail an old friend who I haven't heard from in a long time.
We went to school together (elementary to high school) and finally saw eachother again
at our high school reunion last year. It had literally been 10 years since we last saw eachother.
Anyhow, so we re-connected and had kept in touch via e-mail pretty religiously for a few months.
We even hung out together along with my boyfriend when he was in town to visit his parents.
It was pretty cool catching up with him and learning about the kind of person he's turned into,
what his life experience has been like, his perspectives on things and of course reminiscing on the past.

I'm always fascinated by how people's lives turn out/have turned out.
I even went to a couple of those high school alumni website thingys to see
what my other high school classmates have been up to.
I guess there's just something valuable in those connections that I made with people
back then. It's become a part of me somehow and I'm hopeful that those people I made connections with
have had success & growth in their lives.
