pizza, video games, and "nbc must see tv thursday" on tape
yeah! thank goodness the storm has not gotten any more worse.
as far as I know, it barely rained tonight.
i'm glad 'cause we had a few friends over tonight.
my boyfriend called a few of his guy friends over ...
they've been playing video games since 7p. yes, they are still at it. :)
they took a break to eat some pizza, though. but other than that, their eyes have been
glued to the tv screen and their fingers stuck to the PS2 controllers for almost 6 hours.
It was so cute, though, because all 5 of the guys brought a video game to share...
kinda like a little "video game potluck".

Luckily, I got a chance to play Bomber Man before all the guys got there.
One of my friends gave me a tutorial since it was my first time playing.
definitely fun.
I'm not surprised that this game kept these guys from going to class when we were in college.
There were times when I would go over to my boyfriend's apt. back then and find them ALL
sprawled out in that tiny living room with their eyes glued to the tv and fingers glued to the controllers...
just like tonight. hehehe!
My boyfriend lived only 4 blocks away from campus, so his apartment was the perfect
place to play a quick video game for these guys before studying or walking the rest of the way home.

as for the girls, tonight we hung out in the back room catching up on "Will and Grace", "Friends" and "ER".
it was cool. I passed out blankets and pillows to make our viewing more comfy.
I even brought in my massage table for one of the girls to lie down on...we only have
one twin bed in this back room, so I needed to add more seating/laying down space.
And the massage table was actually pretty darn comfortable! :)
Oh, and of course our viewing would not be complete without ice cream, hot cocoa, and....beer.
umm..not all mixed together, though. ;)

nothing exciting really happened, but it was great to just get together and hang out.
we don't always do it often.
I hope we can still get together to play video games when we have kids and stuff.
Actually, I plan on making that happen.
We're never too old for this stuff!

More Showers!
so later on today, we'll be going into Daly City for my boyfriend's dentist appointment
and then to our friends' baby shower. It is a co-ed one. I like those.
As much as it is the woman that is doing all the work when it comes to pregnancy,
it's good to celebrate both the husband and wife. After all, they are in it together.

Later on in the evening, we will (hopefully) be visited by my friend from elem/jr high/high school
and his fiance. We haven't seen eachother in almost a year, so it'll be great to catch
up in person. I'm so excited for his engagement. This guy truly deserves all the happiness in
the world.

Ok, better try to go to sleep now. 'Gotta wake up pretty early.

till next time...
