just do it
I feel like blogging, but I don't really know what to talk to about.
lots of stuff goin' on in my noggin...
generally speaking, though, I'm feelin' good today.
'felt like I got something accomplished with the whole cabinet painting.
I didn't work out though...and worse...I ate too much of that
damn candy we handed out to trick or treaters tonight. thank goodness
there's not much left, though....babe: if you're reading this, please
take it to work before I OD on it! ;)

I feel a little disappointed in myself for not keeping up with my
health-related goals. I really do need to take it more seriously.
Most importantly, I just need to challenge myself and my mind.
My mind...that's probably the toughest thing to challenge with all of this.
my body usually tells me to get off my ass and my mind just wants to
sit and watch tv all day. It really is a struggle to un-learn something that has been
a norm in my life.

I know I need to eat better, too. I'm definitely not getting enough of the
greens and grains.
I read an article today on mtv.com about LL Cool J. It talked about how he has
taken care of his health (food and exercise-wise). All I can say is, I have definitely noticed
the difference. He's 34 years old and he seriously has never looked better.
It's not even all about the muscles he's got (although that doesn't mean I don't
think he looks hot), there's just this very healthy/fit look about him.
Anyhow, the article inspired me to take a look at myself again to continue the
struggle of making positive changes with my health.
It really is a mental struggle more than anything. Funny...it kinda reminds me of having
Parkinson's disease where your mind wants your legs to walk, but your legs do not respond
right away. (i just finished watching E.R. and there was a character in it who had Parkinson's)

I know I could probably go on and on analyzing this, but the bottom-line is
I just gotta go out and DO IT!
I just wanted to take a moment to reflect a bit.
I need to do that sometimes with this.

so today is another day. But before I do anything, I will start my day
off with 20-min of Pilates and another 20-minute run around the neighborhood.
Will also eat some greens and grains.
