Just Because
again I feel like blogging. not quite sure why, but 'just feel compelled.
'must be something bugging me. hmmm.....

as far as my progress with the bathroom, I haven't added the hardware on the cabinets
nor have I painted the walls yet. I got a little frustrated this afternoon when I
drilled a hole in the WRONG spot of the cabinet door. I pretty much threw in the towel after that.
But the walls are ready to be painted and I will for sure be ready to install ALL of the hardware for
the cabinets. I know I keep saying this, but I cannot wait for this project to be over.
I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm simply excited to see the end result.
Oh, and i told my dad tonight that I painted the cabinets BLUE. He didn't freak out, so I'm happy about that.
See, I rent this house from my parents, so they still have a say on what happens to it.
wait til they see what I do to the walls...hehehehe!!!!

I feel pumped to get this week started. I really want to accomplish a lot with the house
and the yard, too. i'm just gearing up for productivity with my humble abode because I
don't know when I will start work and I want to get my place in place while I still have the time.

I've got some challenges for this week, though...personal ones...nothing major.
there's just certain things I've been purposely avoiding in order to keep my sanity
which I've chosen to take care of this week.
I'm not giving in to these particular things. I've been standing on my ground with them lately
because...i just need to. for me. ya gotta just do that for yourself sometimes.
hopefully things will work out ok for me this time.

so like I said above, I talked to my dad tonight.
it was only for a short while because I was in the middle of watching Alias and The Practice.
didn't talk about much, but it's just always nice to talk to my dad.
I miss him sometimes since I don't go to my parents' house often.
We're pretty close and it's easy to talk with him. Most of the time we joke about stuff,
'cause my dad is the biggest dork! He's always talking crazy-kooky stuff...complete silliness!
But it's fun and its my way of connecting with my dad, 'cause I guess you could say this apple didn't fall
too far away from the tree (I'm a pretty big dork, too)! ;)

Well, I'd better get to bed soon. I got a full day tomorrow.
